Mentoring graduate students is an important part of a quality graduate experience. Our graduate faculty work closely with graduate students to support their graduate studies. Graduate students are mentored by a supervisory committee consisting of a major advisor, who serves as chair of the supervisory Committee, plus at least two (but no more than four) additional members. The major advisor and supervisory committee guide student progress through the program. With the guidance of an advisor and committee, students develop a plan of study that supports their goals as aligned with the diverse field of communication.
