Mary Rohlfing Academic Advising Director

Mary Rohlfing
Mary earned her BA at Boise State and her PhD from the University of Iowa in Communication Research. From 1992 – 2004, she was an Associate Professor at Boise State, teaching over 25 different Communication and Media Arts courses. In 2004, Mary took a break from academia and started Morning Owl Farm where she grew organic vegetables and tended a flock of 300 ducks. In 2012, she became the Dean of Social Sciences and Public Affairs at College of Western Idaho. In 2015, Mary was thrilled to have the opportunity to return to her academic home, Boise State, where she is the department’s Advising Coordinator. Mary grew up near Philadelphia, but has called Idaho home most of her adult life. She enjoys camping, mountain biking, fly fishing, watching the Phillies and Eagles, all Bronco sports, and the Boise Hawks.

Victoria Reget Academic Advisor

Victoria Reget
Victoria grew up in Northern California and has been in Idaho for 4 years. She will graduate in May 2018 with her BA in Communication. In her time at Boise State, she has gained extensive experience in the community and on campus helping organize events and serving several key roles in her sorority. Before coming aboard, Victoria participated in two months of intensive training. In her words, she is excited to help students “connect with faculty and staff, and encourage them to get involved on campus.” Victoria is knowledgeable about university and Communication courses, student services, and the road to graduation. She loves puppies, swimming, anything chocolate and everything Boise State.
