Boise State Communication Major Specific Scholarships

Listed below are  Boise State Communication Major Specific Scholarships and their requirements. To apply for any and all scholarships, use this link.

Harvey and Eleanor R. Pitman Communication Scholarship

– Open to any BSU Communication major
– Minimum GPA: 3.0
– No financial need requirement
– No Idaho residency requirement

Robert and Marjorie Boren Communication Scholarship

– Open to any BSU sophomore, junior or senior majoring in Communication
– Minimum GPA: 3.0
– No financial need requirement
– No Idaho residency requirement

Ted Trueblood Scholarship

– Open to any BSU student
– Minimum GPA: 3.0
– Requires creative writing interest and some emphasis on natural resources, conservation and/or recreation
– No financial need requirement
– No Idaho residency requirement

Dr. Dan Morris Memorial Scholarship

– Open to any BSU student
– Involvement in campus journalism, especially The Arbiter, preferred
– Minimum GPA: 3.0
– Must demonstrate financial need
– No Idaho residency requirement

Donna Lang Memorial Scholarship

– Open to BSU juniors, seniors, or graduate students majoring in Communication
– Requires ability to demonstrate commitment to education and teaching
– Minimum GPA: 3.5
– Must demonstrate financial need
– No Idaho residency requirement

Wilson Communication Award

– Open to any BSU Communication major
– Minimum GPA: 2.0
– Must demonstrate financial need
– No Idaho residency requirement
